Formula Lid Christmas Tree

I was trying to figure out what to do for a Christmas tree this year since we don't have room to set one up.  I saw a lot of ideas on wall Christmas trees but they all seed so permanent or requiring stuff I don't have on hand.  Thanks to Bruce's formula, I found a great solution.  I used cut up kitchen sponges, a medium paint brush and acrylic paint.  a little ticky tack holds them up nicely with no need for tape or nails.

Gluten free cheese cake

Gluten Free Chocolate Cheesecake - Pressure Cooker Style

This is SUPER rich, but also delicious and easy!

Gluten Free cookies
2 tbsp butter
2 (8oz) pkg cream cz
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 C Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (divided)
1/2 C heavy cream

Crust: 14 Gluten Free Cookies and butter.  Spread out in pan

Filling:  Food process cream cheese and sugar till smooth.  Add cornstarch,eggs, vanilla, and 1 1/2 C semi sweet chocolate (melted).  Pour on top of crust.

Put 1 water in pressure cooker, then add pie pan wrapped in aluminum foil.  Cook at pressure for 40 min.  Cool at room temp.

Topping: Boil Cream - Remove from heat and stir in 1 C chocolate till melted.  Spread on top of cheesecake and add bits of gluten free cookies for garnish.

Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight

Funeral

     I played piano and sang "Amazing Grace" accompanied by my Mom on the violin today.  It was an interesting experience trying to use my talents to help bring the spirit and heal hearts of people I've never met.  What was interesting is that most of the time I perform I'm nervous.  Even if I have absolutely no reason to be nervous, I still find either my ankle, hands, and even once my upper lip, quivering, but today it was different.  Today I was singing to touch hearts, to serve, and for little recognition.  I knew I wasn't going to stick around after the service, so for once my performance felt more selfless.  It's amazing that the Lord strengthens and directs us when we serve his children.  I just love the gospel, and I love the peace it brings!
